World football governing body, Fifa have placed a transfer ban on Algerian club, USM Alger following their inability to pay Asante Kotoko after signing Kwame Opoku.
The Ghanaian forward joined the North African side in March this year from the Ghana Premier League side.
Opoku helped the side to finish in the top half of the league.
FIFA initially ordered the Algerian club to pay 300,000 Euros with interest but they could not meet the requirements which have landed them in a serious trouble.
Algers cannot sign a player for one season until they settle Asante Kotoko.
