Daniel Afriyie Barnieh nets brace for Hearts of Oak in friendly win against Banana Inn FC

Highly-rated Ghanaian attacker, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh bagged a brace on Wednesday afternoon to help Hearts of Oak to defeat Banana Inn FC 4-2 in a friendly match.

The Ghana Premier League Champions warmed up with the friendly today as they club aims to wrap up preparations for their CAF Champions League primary stage encounter against CI Kamsar.

Featuring in the game today, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh displayed top form and finished with two goals with assists from Suraj Seidu and Enoch Asubonteng respectively.

Although Banana Inn FC will also score two times during the friendly contest, additional goals from new signings Agyenim Boateng and Seidu Suraj powered Hearts of Oak to cruise to a 4-2 win at the end of the game.

The Phobians after today, will train for three more days before hosting CI Kamsar in the CAF Champions League on Sunday, September 19, 2021.

Coach Samuel Boadu and his side will hope to record a win to progress to the next stage of the playoffs to the CAF Champions League group phase.
