Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko have renewed the interest to sign midfielder Justice Blay from Medeama SC, information reaching Modernghana Sports has revealed.
The Porcupine Warriors club last year made efforts to secure the services of the midfielder on a permanent basis.
Unfortunately, after failing to meet the monetary demands of Medeama SC, Asante Kotoko could not sign the player.
After the 2020/2021 football season where the Reds have gone trophyless, the team has decided to splash the cash to bring in players that will ensure they are successful next season.
As a result, sources are reporting that the management of Asante Kotoko have written to Medeama SC to inform the club of the intention to sign Justice Blay.
In addition, the club has also inquired about the availability of Richard Boadu and Samuel Appiah, all Medeama SC players.
Asante Kotoko are keen on strengthening the team’s squad and will in the coming days bid to sign other players that excelled in the Ghana Premier League last season.
