Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has reiterated that his ambition is to make the club economically viable to the extent that it will drive the development of the Ashanti Region.
The young football administrator in August 2020 was appointed as the new CEO of the Kumasi-based club on a three-year contract.
Into his first year, he has managed to impress a lot of people after bringing on board a number of sponsorship deals.
Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM on Thursday afternoon, Nana Yaw Amponsah has stressed that his ultimate goal is to see Asante Kotoko becoming the fulcrum for the development of the Region.
“My vision is to see the right structures at Kotoko and also make the club economically viable. I want Kotoko to be the economic fulcrum to drive the development of the Ashanti Region,” the Asante Kotoko CEO said.
He further confirmed that the first phase of the Adako Jachie project will be completed next month.
“God willing in the next three weeks the Adako Jachie project will be completed,” Nana Yaw Amponsah added.
