The Confederation of Africa Football [CAF] has resheduled the maiden start of the Women's Champions League Zonal Championship due to organisational challenges.

The WAFU Zone B championship was slated for the Ivory Coast from Saturday, July 17 to July 30.

The Confederation of Africa Football has now fixed August 5 as the new date for the Competition.

Hasaacas Ladies are the sole representative of Ghana at the maiden tournament designed by CAF to improve on Women Football in the Continent.

Hasaacas Ladies have been drawn against Nigeria’s Rivers Angels FC and Niger’s AS Police de Niamey in Group B of the WAFU Zone B qualifying series of the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League.

Eight West Africa women Football clubs will compete for 2 slots for the Super Champions league to be staged in Egypt.

The postponement means Hasaacas Ladies will have to further wait to prepare adequately for the tournament.
