Bashir Hayford has said Legon Cities are safe from being relegated from the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
After 28 matches played in the ongoing season, the Royals sit on the 9th position with 38 points.
Legon Cities started the ongoing season on a bad note which led to the sacking of Goran Barjaktarević.
However, following the appointment of Bashir Hayford, the veteran gaffer has been able to stabilize the club from being relegated from the top flight.
“We are comfortably seated at the 9th position because the gap is now widened,” Bashir Hayford told Africa-foot.com.
“So even if we lose the next match, all those behind us, even if they win they cannot catch us.
“So comfortably we are at the 9th position, yes.
“Our next game and the following game, you will see us coming up again," he added.
