Volleyball League: Elwak Wings male team defeat Immigration to record first win

The male team of Elwak Wings on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, emphatically defeated the male team of Immigration to record their first win of the ongoing Ghana Volleyball league.

The team last Sunday commenced their campaign in the volleyball league but unfortunately lost 3-2 after five sets to Air Force.

Engaging Immigration yesterday, Elwak Wings stepped up and managed to cruise past the side by winning 3-1 at the end of four exciting sets.

On the other hand, the female team of Elwak Wings continued their impressive start to the volleyball league campaign as they defeated their Immigration counterpart by three straight sets.

Up next for both the male and female teams of Elwak Wings, they will go up against the Navy volleyball team at Tema on Sunday, May 16, 2021.

These games are serving as grounds for the Elwak Wings teams to prepare for an upcoming tournament in Burkina Faso that will be staged from May 25 to May 30.

In addition to Burkina Faso and Ghana, the continental volleyball tournament will see participation from teams from Niger, Nigeria, Benin, Cote d'Ivoire, Kenya, Mali, Gambia, and Togo.
