APR 18, 2021 LISTEN

Medeama SC have made it two wins in their last two matches following a deserved 2-1against Legon Cities FC on matchday 20 of the Ghana Premier League season today.

The Ghanaian top-flight giants have been in impressive form recently and hope to continue picking big points to stay in the race for the league title.

In a game against Legon Cities FC today, Medeama SC dominated play in both halves and led by a goal to nil at the end of the first half courtesy of a strike from attacker Prince Opoku Agyemang.

Forced to play with 10 men in the second half due to the sending off of defender Joseph Adjei after a horrendous challenge on midfielder Justice Blay, Legon Cities FC still managed to make strides and drew level in the 79th minute when Issaka Mohammed registered his name on the scoresheet.

Less than five minutes after that goal, midfielder Kwasi Donsu produced a moment of magic when he volleyed home a sweet strike to restore the lead for Medeama SC.

Courtesy of today’s win, the team from Tarkwa remains in the top four of the Ghana Premier League with 33 points from the 20 matches they have played.
