Asante Kotoko: Our winning streak does not mean everything is well - Mariano Barreto

Asante Kotoko head coach, Mariano Barreto has said he wants his players to do more despite their winning streak.

The Porcupine Warriors have reaped some good results under the Portuguese manager following his appointment.

After three matches played, Kotoko have scored six goals which has propelled them to the top of the league with 34 points after 19 matches played.

After recording a 2-0 win over Berekum Chelsea over the weekend, Barreto said has advised the club’s faithfuls against high expectations saying his players must do more.

“When we win, it is not because everything is ok, for me, it is not like this, and when we lose it is not because we are bad," he said.

“Still we have many things to change believe me.

“We have to change many things.
“Because I want these guys to do what they can do,” Mariano Baretto said.

Asante Kotoko will be hosted by 2nd placed Accra Great Olympics in the matchday 20 games on Friday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
