Hearts of Oak are turning attention to their next match against Inter Allies FC in the Ghana Premier League following the narrow defeat to Ashanti Gold SC, head coach Samuel Boadu has emphasized.

The Phobians on Sunday afternoon visited the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium to battle for the available three points against the Miners in a matchday 19 fixture of the 2020/2021 league campaign.

Losing by a goal to nil at the end of a fierce contest, Hearts of Oak have now dropped out of the top four and in need of a response to keep hopes of winning the league title alive.

Speaking in a post-match interview, Coach Samuel Boadu who refused to comment on the performance of the matchday referee has noted that his team is moving on from the defeat to plan for their next match.

“Football sometimes is unpredictable, why the referee took that decision l can never tell but we can all see what happened.

“I have no comment about them. I am concentrating on my next match which is against Inter Allies,” the Hearts of Oak coach said after the defeat.

Hearts of Oak now sits fifth on the Ghana Premier League table and four points shy of the team at the top, Asante Kotoko.
