Bashir Hayford praises Legon Cities players determination after win over Great Olympics

Legon Cities head coach, Bashir Hayford has heaped praises on his players following their impressive win over Great Olympics.

The Royals bounced back to winning ways with a 2-0 win against Annor Walker's side who have been impressive all season at the Accra Sports Stadium in the matchday 19 games.

Two second-half goals by Nicholas Menssh and Jonah Attuquaye ensured that the quest of the Royals to beat the drop at the end of the season is on course.

Speaking after the game elated Bashir Hayford indicated that his charges were hungry for success on the afternoon.

“Fantastic victory for the team today. We showed hunger and determination to win," he said.

"I am so happy for the boys. We need to keep up the momentum and grab few wins then hopefully climb up the table.

"Attention turns to the next game right away," the veteran gaffer added.

Legon Cities remain at 5th position with 22 points after 19 games.
