Inter Allies FC shocked Karela United on Sunday afternoon when the team defeated the league favourites by two goals to nothing on the back of an exciting contest.
The Capelli Boys as they are affectionately called have struggled since the start of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League campaign.
Playing as host to the team from Anyinase, Inter Allies FC were tipped to lose due to the form displayed by the opponent this season.
Against all odds, however, the Capelli Boys have managed to put up the needed performance to pick the maximum points.
In a game that saw both teams combine for numerous chances, Inter Allies FC took the lead in the 70th minute courtesy of a strike from Nafiu Sulemana.
Defending well to stop Karela United from making strides, Inter Allies FC doubled their lead in the 83rd minute when Samuel Armah scored from 12 yards.
With the opponent unable to find answers to the two goals, Inter Allies FC cruised to a massive 2-0 win at the end of the game.
