Medeama SC has reclaimed their place in the top four of the Ghana Premier League standings after posting a 2-0 win over Dreams FC on Sunday afternoon.

The Tarkwa-based club today hosted the side from Dawu at the Akoon Park geared up to pick a win to end their unimpressive run in the last couple of games.

Establishing themselves as the better side right from the start of the first half, Medeama SC unsurprisingly led after just 14 minutes when Ivorian import Amed Toure scored with a fine effort.

Although Dreams FC will come in strong, they could not equalize and suffered more in the second half when they were forced to play with 10 men as a result of the sending off of Farhadu Suleiman.

Taking full advantage, Medeama SC continued to dominate play and excelled with their potent attack.

The home team scored their second goal of the afternoon in the 67th minute when talisman and experienced goal poacher Amed Toure found the back of the Dreams FC net with an intelligent strike.

In the end, Medeama SC deservedly has picked the three points and now sits fourth on the Ghana Premier League table.
