Following his arrival in Ghana on Friday morning, Portuguese trainer Pedro Manuel has traveled to Kumasi where he has officially started his new role as the physical trainer for Asante Kotoko.
The trainer is one of the staff appointed to provide support for head coach Mariano Barreto when he was appointed by the Porcupine Warriors club last month.
Due to some issues, Pedro Manuel could not arrive in Ghana earlier until earlier today.
Having moved straight to the team’s base this afternoon at the Adako Jachie facility, the well-built physical trainer has linked up with coach Mariano Barreto and his other deputies.
He is training with players this afternoon as they look to wrap up preparations for their Ghana Premier League match against Berekum Chelsea this weekend.
Besides Mariano Barreto, Pedro Manuel will be working closely with compatriot and Asante Kotoko assistant coach Miguel Pinto.
