The head coach for Asante Kotoko, Mariano Barreto was left unsatisfied after the 4-0 thumping of Bechem United on Wednesday afternoon as he felt his team should have scored at least eight goals.

The Porcupine Warriors yesterday locked horns with the Hunters at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium to clear an outstanding match in the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

In a game where Asante Kotoko created numerous chances in both halves, goals from Abdul Ismail Ganiu, Fabio Gama, Andy Kumi Francis, and Michael Vinicius powered the Reds to cruise to an emphatic 4-0 win against the opponent.

Speaking in his post-man interview, Coach Mariano Barreto noted that he is unhappy because his lads should have loaded Bechem United with more goals.

“I am not happy. We should have won by 8 nil or 9 nil. We created many chances that we should have scored more,” the Asante Kotoko head coach noted.

Up next for coach Mariano Barreto and his charges, the team will face Berekum Chelsea in a matchday 19 fixture of the ongoing Ghana Premier League season next weekend.
