Fabio Gama named MoTM after star performance in Asante Kotoko’s win against Bechem Utd

Following his outstanding performance for Asante Kotoko in the game against Bechem United, Fabio Gama dos Santos has been named the Nasco Man of the Match.

The Brazilian midfielder started for the Reds today when they played host to the Hunters at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.

Having been handed an attacking midfielder’s role, Fabio Gama did not only boss the midfield, but he also dictated the pace of the game with his passing making things happen for his team.

Just 13 minutes into the first half, the midfielder assisted Abdul Ismail Ganiu to score to shoot Asante Kotoko into a deserved lead.

In the final minutes of the first half, the Brazilian got himself into a good position after receiving a pass from Augustine Okrah. As if it was in doubt, he fired home from close range with an unstoppable left-footed shot to increase the lead for his team.

In a match that eventually ended 4-0 for the record Ghana Premier League champions, Fabio Gama has been named the Nasco Man of the Match.
