Ghana U-20 forward, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has courted interest from FC Basel with the Swiss giants reportedly ready to pay $1 million for the services of the teenager.
The talented winger was part of the Black Satellites team that played for the Ghana U-20 team at the 2021 Total CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Mauritania.
Helping Ghana to win the tournament, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku also finished as Most Valuable Player at the end of the tournament.
As a result of his outstanding displays, there are a number of clubs chasing the signature of the Steadfast FC sensation.
Information gathered from sources has revealed that FC Basel is ready to pay $500,000 upfront when the Ghanaian lower-tier club agrees to sell the player.
Later when the forward turns 18, the remaining $500,000 will be paid to Steadfast FC.
According to Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM, if Abdul Fatawu Issahaku moves to FC Basel, he will be on a monthly wage of $15,000. Once he turns 18, it will be doubled to $30,000.
