Swansea City star Andre Ayew and AC Monza poster boy KP Boateng have returned to the Modernghana Sports team of the week following their impressive displays for their clubs over the weekend.

At the end of another weekend, Modernghana Sports with the help of partners SofaScore has compiled a list of top 10 players from Ghana that excelled to help their clubs.

Making his first appearance this season, Reading FC defender Andy Yiadom has stolen the spotlight to emerge as the best performer for the week.

The full-back who recently regained his full fitness was in action for his team on Saturday and scored to seal a 3-0 win for the team against Sheffield Wednesday in the English Championship.

Yiadom is followed in second by Black Stars captain Andre Ayew. The former U-20 FIFA World Cup winner was in stellar form over the weekend and netted a brace to inspire Swansea City to defeat Middlesbrough 2-1 at the Liberty Stadium.

Earning a SofaScore rating of 8.2, the forward is deservedly in the top 10 rated Ghanaian players abroad from the weekend.

Having netted their first goals of the season for Leicester City and FC Nordsjaelland respectively, defender Daniel Amartey and young striker Ibrahim Sadiq make their maiden appearance on the list.

The duo is joined by KP Boateng, Kamal Deen Sulemana, Benjamin Tetteh, and others who excelled for their clubs.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Kudus was in action for Ajax when they beat Groningen in the Dutch Eredivisie while Alfred Duncan also played for Cagliari in the team’s draw at Sampdoria in the Italian Serie A.
