GHPL: Striker Kwame Peprah scores 9th goal of the season to help King Faisal defeat Liberty

Sought-after striker, Kwame Peprah scored his 9^th goal of the Ghana Premier League season on Saturday afternoon to help Karela United defeat King Faisal 1-0.

The forward since the start of the 2020/2021 football season has been in outstanding form and continues to perform at top level whenever he is called into action.

Today, the striker started for King Faisal when the team hosted Liberty Professionals on matchday 17 of the Ghana Premier League campaign.

Helping the home team with his runs, he scored the only goal of the match to condemn the struggling opponent to a narrow defeat.

On the matchday, Kwame Peprah’s goal came in the 36^th minute when he converted a penalty kick.

Courtesy of the 1-0 win today, King Faisal has leapfrogged Liberty Professionals on the league table and now occupies the 16^th spot.

Meanwhile, poster boy Kwame Peprah has taken his tally of goals to 9 this season. His impressive form in front of goal has seen him court interest from Dreams FC, Asante Kotoko, and Hearts of Oak.
