GHPL: Diawisie Taylor nets brace for Karela Utd in 2-1 comeback win against Aduana Stars

Highly-rated striker, Diawisie Taylor netted a brace on Saturday afternoon to power Karela United to come from behind to defeat Aduana Stars 2-1 in the Ghana Premier League.

The league leaders today hosted the side from Dormaa at the CAM Park in a fixture serving as a matchday 17 encounter of the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.

As a result of a slow start to the match, Karela United trailed by an early Bright Adjei strike and had to fight to get something out of the match.

At the centre of the spirited comeback was poster boy Diawisie Taylor. The prolific forward scored in the 42nd minute to draw level for the home team before the break on the back of impressive team performance.

With Karela United continuing to work hard in the second half, the team equalized in added time courtesy of Diawisie Taylor to seal a delightful 2-1 win at the end of the match.

The win means that Karela United stays top of the Premier League table at the end of the first half of the season while striker Diawisie Taylor also leads the top scorers' chart with 12 goals.
