Boxing Bronx Gyms Emmanuel Quartey and Felix Nelson signed by Yungice Management

Two young rising boxers from Carl Lokko’s Bronx Gym at James Town in Accra, Ghana, Emmanuel Quartey and Felix Nelson have been signed on by Yungice Management.

The impressive signing ceremony was witnessed by fans of the boxers including Hon. Abraham Neequaye, Second Vice President of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) took place on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at the gym.

The GBA Veep advised boxers and managers to respect contracts to move the business of the sport forward.

Mr Solomon Enchill, a member of the Yungice Management described the boxers at Bronx Gym as very disciplined and urged them to keep it up, as they pledge to support them to reach their goals of global achievement.

Other members of the management are Jerry Abeasi and Isaac Nana Adjei Owusu.

Emmanuel Quartey, a product of Osu Presec said his dream is coming through and thanked God for the chance. He promised to shine and share with his community.

Felix Nunoo said he is determined to make the gym, his family, his coach and himself proud by winning continental glory.

Coach Carl Lokko who was very elated said one person can not make a champion as a good boxer needs a good coach and good manager backed by good supporters who must work positively to win.

He advised the boxers to be respectful to elder people, obedient, disciplined and careful in life, not only in the ring.

Mr. Steve Ashie, President of the Ghana Boxing Supporters Union (GBSU) was present to show his support together with his secretary, Mustapha Nettey.
