Ghanaian top-flight side, Legon Cities FC have completed the signing of skillful forward Victorien Adebayor to strengthen their squad for the ongoing 2020/2021 football season.
The club, formerly called Wa All Stars struggled to compete at the start of the Ghana Premier League season but have gradually picked up.
Determined to avoid relegation, the club is taking advantage of the second transfer window of the season to bring in reinforcements.
According to close sources to the club, a deal has been reached with former Inter Allies poster boy Victorien Adebayor.
The Niger attacker joined Danish lower-tier side HB Køge last year but has been unable to break into the first team.
He is now returning to Ghana where he has made a name for himself in the past to sign for Legon Cities FC.
Reports gathered from Fox FM indicate that Victorien Adebayor would be officially unveilled by the capital-based club by the close of the week.
