The head coach for Hearts of Oak, Samuel Boadu has been tasked to lead the team to lift the Ghana Premier League title next season.

The former Medeama SC gaffer after partying ways with the club is now taking over at the camp of the Phobians following his official unveiling in Accra on Monday afternoon.

At a short ceremony for coach Samuel Boadu to sign his contract, the board of Hearts of Oak has tasked him to finish the 20/21 football season as at least a top-four side in the Ghana Premier League.

In his first full season with the club next season, the young coach has been tasked to ensure the team ends its trophy drought of 11 years and lift the Premier League title or at least get their hands on the FA Cup trophy.

Meanwhile, Coach Boadu has also been asked to qualify the Ghanaian giants to participate in any of CAF’s inter-club competitions at the end of his third year at the club.

Modernghana Sports can confirm that the highly-rated coach has signed a three-year contract with Hearts of Oak.

He starts work immediately and will be in the dugout next weekend when the Phobians take on WAFA SC in the Ghana Premier League.
