Hearts of Oak winger Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Legon Cities FC teenager Mathew Anim Cudjoe have been named in the first eleven of the Ghana U-20 team set to take on Cameroon this evening.

The youth national teams of the two countries will lock horns later this evening in the quarter-finals of the ongoing Total CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament being hosted in Mauritania.

With the stakes that high and a win a must for his team, Ghana coach Karim Zito has named a strong first eleven to face the opponent.

The starting lineup facing Cameroon has Danlad Ibrahim as the goalkeeper while Uzair Alhassan coming in to replace Frank Assinki in the heart of the defense.

Skillful winger Abdul Issahaku keeps his place in the team as well as striker Percious Boah with Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Anim Cudjoe also coming in to help the attack of the team.

The quarter-final match between the Ghana U-20 and the Cameroon U-20 game is expected to be played at the Stade Olympique in Nouakchott and will kick off at 16:00GMT.
