Striker Hans Kwofie credits Legon Cities FC teammates for his impressive form

In-form striker, Hans Kwofie has given credit to his teammates at Legon Cities FC for his goal-scoring form since he arrived at the club.

The experienced forward earlier this month was signed by the Royals from fellow Ghana Premier League club Ashanti Gold SC.

In his first two matches, Hans Kwofie has scored three goals to help the team pick four points from matches they usually would have struggled to get points.

Speaking in a post-match interview after hitting a brace for Legon Cities FC in the 2-0 win against Elmina Sharks on Wednesday, the excited striker has extended his appreciation to his teammates for providing the needed help,

"I am very happy to contribute once again. I want to thank my team-mates because it won't be possible without them,” the ex-Miner noted.

Hans Kwofie added, “I am here to score more goals and this is just the beginning.”

This season, Hans Kwofie has scored eight goals [five for Ashgold and three for Legon Cities FC].

He is in the race for the golden boot award but will need to stay clinical to have the chance to overtake Diawisie Taylor from the top-scorers chart.
