CAF has appointed Chad referee Alhadi Allaou Mahamat as the centre referee for the match between the Ghana U-20 team and the Cameroon U-20 team in the Total U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
The Black Satellites will on Thursday, February 25, 2021, take on their counterpart from Cameroon in the quarter-finals of the tournament being hosted in Mauritania.
Ahead of the tough encounter, referee Alhadi Allaou from Chad has been selected to officiate the match as the centre referee.
The 35-year-old will be assisted by Modibo Samake from Mali and Eric Ayimavo Ayamr Ulrich from Benin as Assistant Referee I and II respectively.
Meanwhile, Pierre Ghislain Atcho from Gabon has been handed the role of a Fourth Official with Jospin Luckner Malonga from Central Africa Republic set to act as the VAR/Assistant Referee III.
The match between Ghana and Cameroon will be played at the Office du Complexe Olympique and will kick-off at 16:00GMT.
