Legon Cities FC attacking midfielder, Baba Mahama has been named the NASCO ‘Man of the Match’ after putting up a stellar performance to help his team defeat Ashanti Gold SC 5-2.
The player and his teammates hosted the Miners at the Accra Sports Stadium today to honour a date on matchday 10 of the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
Lasting the entire duration of the match, Baba Mahama made an enormous contribution to his team.
In the 50th minute, he scored with a fine effort to give Legon Cities FC a 3-2 lead against Ashanti Gold SC on the back of a 2-2 draw in the first half.
Later on, a brace from David Cudjoe sealed a 5-2 win for the home team as they bagged maximum points from the tough opponent.
At the end of the match, Baba Mahama has been named the NASCO MoTM as he walks home with a brand new mobile phone plus a men’s grooming machine.
This is his third MoTM award this season in the Ghana Premier League after featuring in all ten matches of Legon Cities FC.
