Interim head coach of Asante Kotoko, Johnson Smith, beleives having the needed License A certificate does not make you a good coach.
Johnson Smith, who has been in charge at the club is yet to attain the required license to be in the dugout as the gaffer of a Premier League club.
The Porcupine Warriors have been churning good results under the guidance of the former Karela United boss.
Johnson Smith currently holds the License B coaching certificate.
"If you know your job as a coach you know it's not about having License A," Johnson Smith reacted in an interview with Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM.
"It's just a requirement so you can coach a Premier/Division One league club.
"For the job, I am capable and know what am about, it's only that I need the A."
