Ebusua Dwarfs coach, Ernest Thompson, has made a passionate appeal claiming Brazilian midfielder, Fabio Gama must not be put under pressure to deliver.

The Kotoko midfielder put up another magnificent display against Ebusua Dwarfs on Wednesday at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Prior to the Kotoko game, Thompson blew fuse claiming the former Brazil U-20 player is an overhyped player.

Following his side’s 1-0 defeat to the Porcupine Warriors on home turf, he has advised the club not to put too much pressure on Gama to impress the supporters.

He indicated the kitchen was too hot for him during the game and that is why he was taken off on the 68th minute.

"Fabio Gama is an up and coming player, they (Kotoko) shouldn't put much pressure on him to do things he can't do," he told Kumasi based Otec FM.

"He will do very well if they give him time to select and adapt to our style of play.

"I had the chance of meeting him and I think he still has more room for improvement. Gama could be a good addition to the team," he added.
