Hearts of Oak head coach, Kosta Papic has lauded the progression of his players following his side 2-0 win against Techiman Eleven Wonders.

The Phoians returned to winning ways in teh matchday 9 fixtures.

Manaf Umar Gumah and inform, Victor Aidoo netted both goals to secure all three points for the club.

In a post-match presser, Kosta Papic for the first time has lauded the performance of his boys stating he's excited over their progression in his style of football though they created less chances.

He also noted by saying the return of the injured once will create healthy competition in the team which will play a major role in their season as everyone will want to improve to maintain or claim back their various positions.

"For my opinion, we are progressing. Not creating so many chances like I am expecting but we are progressing on the playing style.

"When our players from injury come back, we will have strong competition and that will make the team even much stronger and we will perform better.

"At least three points for us is very important till we catch those who are up. It's very important for us at this crucial moment and I am very happy that we got it", he concluded.

Hearts of Oak move back into the top 4 with 15 points.
