GPL update after match week seven
After match week seven, there was a plethora of goals which become the most goals scored in a match week so far even though Ebusua Dwarfs v Asante Kotoko was postponed. King Faisal
started with Dreams FC on the New Year day sharing the spoil (1-1), Hearts of Oak had their third win of the season by annihilating the league leaders Bechem United six goals to one, who were also unbeaten before that match. Ashanti Gold came from behind to win (2-1) after Berekum Chelsea had taken the lead in the early part of the game.
At Dormaa, Aduana stars came back to win (2-1) after an early scare from Great Olympics in the second half. Eleven is to one boys (Inter Allies) had their second win of the season after outwitting Eleven Wonders by a goal to nil in the Accra Sports Stadium. Karela United survived an early petrify after Elmina Sharks took the lead in the first quarter of an hour but they resuscitate and won the game by three goals to one.
Liberty Professional continued their home form after they narrowly beat yet to win Legon Cities (1-0). Sogakope was entertained with goals after WAFA edged past Medeama SC a nine-goal thriller (5-4). Below are some exciting stats so far:
