Legon Cities will do well with hard work and determination – Coach Bashir Hayford

The newly-appointed Legon Cities FC head coach, Bashir Hayford says he is optimistic the team will perform better in the Ghana Premier League if the team collectively works hard.

The former Asante Kotoko gaffer joined the Royal Club earlier this week to officially commence work after replacing German tactician Goran Barjaktarevic last week.

At his first press conference today, Coach Bashir Hayford has admitted the work will not be easy. He is however confident Legon Cities will do well if players work hard and show determination.

“No task is easy but it can be through hard work and determination. Together, we can do it. I believe in the team a lot,” the coach said at his official unveiling ceremony on Friday.

Coach Bashir Hayford continued, “I have been with the team for some few days now and I have been able to analyze their strength and weakness, we will work on them together and hopefully improve going forward.”

This weekend, the coach will be in the dugout when Legon Cities FC take on Dreams FC in Dawu.
