Serbian tactician, Kosta Papic on Wednesday afternoon took charge of his first Hearts of Oak training following his official appointment as the team’s head coach on Tuesday.
Having played two matches in the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League campaign, the Accra-based club sits in the relegation zone of the standings of the division after disappointingly failing to record any win.
In what appears to be a desperate move to turn things around, Hearts of Oak on Tuesday confirmed the re-appointment of Serbian trainer Kosta Papic to take over from Coach Nii Odoom.
Today, the experienced tactician has had the first training session with the players of the Phobians as preparations for the tough fixture against Karela United continues.
No stranger to the Ghana Premier League, Kosta Papic has come in at a time where teams have already settled into the new season.
In line with that, it is likely he will need time to get the team the desired results. While many back the gaffer to succeed, there are others who also say Coach Odoom should have been retained.
