The President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, toured the Nyinahin Multi-purpose Youth and Sports Centre of Excellence to inspect the progress of work.
As part of many interventions and initiatives towards the development of sports in the country, the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is constructing 10 Multi-purpose Youth and Sports Centre of Excellence in 10 regions.
While there are plans to construct additional centres in the newly created regions, the government wants to see to the completion of the already started ones before the end of the year.
Today, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Isaac Asiamah led President Akufo-Addo to inspect the progress of work of the Nyinahin Multi-purpose Youth and Sports Centre of Excellence located in the Antwima Mponua constituency of the Ashanti Region.
The centre that boasts of a FIFA standard pitch and an 8-lane tartan track is almost completed.
