Former Hearts of Oak midfielder, Francis Bossman is calling on the club to give Coach Edward Nii Odoom the chance to work with newly-appointed head coach Kosta Papic.

The management of the Phobians after seeing the team fail to win any of their first two matches of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season have decided to make changes to the technical bench.

On Tuesday, November 1, 2020, an official communique on the Twitter page of the club confirmed that they have secured the services of Kosta Papic as the new first-team head coach.

With sources reporting that Coach Odoom has been asked to take charge of the junior team of the side, the Serbian tactician is now set to work with Coach Asare Bediako as his deputy.

Speaking on Coach Nii Odoom’s demotion, Francis Bossman has told Happy FM that he will prefer Hearts of Oak allows the gaffer to work with the new man in charge.

“When he [Kosta Papic] came during our time, there were new players but right now he has a team which coach Nii Odoom built so he will do well.

“Hearts of Oak should not sack coach Nii Odoom but rather let him work under Papic because he built the team so he will be a good asset to Papic. They should work together,” Bossman shared in the Happy FM interview.

Kosta Papic, 60, has gathered enormous experienced over the last decade where he has coached teams from the South Africa League, as well as the Tanzania league.
