VIDEO: Coach Bashir Hayford takes charge of first Legon Cities FC training

Legon Cities FC new head coach, Bashir Hayford on Monday took charge of his first training session with the team as he looks to improve the side for the ongoing 2020/2021 football season.

The Royal club in its first two matches of the new Ghana Premier League season drew against Berekum Chelsea before going on to lose 3-0 to Great Olympics.

Unimpressed with the results, the management of Legon Cities FC parted ways with team head coach Goran Barjaktarevic.

Subsequently, in the days prior to the Matchday 3 encounter against Medeama SC on Matchday 3, the club announced the appointment of experienced tactician Bashir Hayford as the new head coach.

Having watched from a distance when the team drew goalless against the Yellow and Mauves, Coach Bashir Hayford has finally officially started work.

The former Asante Kotoko head coach trained the team for the first time on Monday and is captured in a video posted on the Twitter page of the club taking players through various drills.

Coach Bashir Hayford will be in the dugout of Legon Cities FC for the first time in the upcoming weekend when the team takes on Dreams FC in Dawu.
