Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu is mapping up a strategy to nullify the threat of Nouadhibou talisman Hemeya Tanjy in the second leg of their Caf Champions League clash in Ghana.

The Porcupines Warriors recorded a 1-1 draw in Nouadhibou on Sunday in the preliminary round.

Osman Ibrahim’s 5th-minute goal was cancelled by Hemeya’s spot-kick on the 22nd minute.

“They have some skilful players I must be honest. Hemeya Tanjy is a wonderful player.”

“He is the man we have to watch come next Sunday, so we can work around him and play him out of the game, so we can have our day.”

The draw against Nouadhibou FC means Kotoko under Maxwell Konadu this season are yet to record a win in a competitive fixture.

Forward Kwame Poku has netted twice and the goal by Osman Ibrahim in Mauritania on Sunday names the two as the only scorers so far.
