Inter Allies Did Not Play Any Extraordinary Football - Hearts of Oak Coach Nii Odoom Claims

Hearts of Oak head coach, Edward Nii Odoom beleives his side were better despite losing to Inter Allies in their match-week three clash at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

A 61st-minute thunderous strike from Richmond Lamptey Richmond Lamptey inflicted a 1-0 defeat on Hearts of Oak in the ongoing season.

Odoom insisted after the match that Allies didn't dominate the game but rather his side was unlucky.

“We had all chances, our opponents didn’t play anything extraordinary," Odoom told the press.

"We started playing high pressing to score early but we couldn’t convert our chances.

"We will talk to the players to come back stronger in our next game," he added.

Hearts of Oak are currently pegging 17th position with a point after match-week, having an outstanding fixture against Aduana Stars.

The Phobians are yet to record a win in the ongoing 2020/21 Ghana Premier Lague season.
