The Communications Director of Asante Kotoko, Moses Antwi Benefo has assured fans that the team is ready to take on FC Nouadhibou in the CAF Champions League on Sunday afternoon.
Later today, the Porcupine Warriors will be at the battlefront in Mauritania when they take on the Champions of the country’s top-flight league in the preliminary stage of the 2020/2021 CAF Champions League competition.
Having arrived in the country in midweek, Asante Kotoko has had enough time to prepare and acclimatize for the first meeting of the scheduled two-legged encounter.
Speaking in a pre-match interview with Hot FM, Moses Antwi Benefo who is with the Reds in Mauritania says the team is ready for the task at hand.
“We are ready for Nouadhibou FC. The players, management, technical team are ready for the game tomorrow. We will fight to get a better result tomorrow. We need all Ghanaians and our fans prayers and support for victory tomorrow,” the spokesperson for Kotoko shared.
The tie between FC Nouadhibou and Asante Kotoko will kick-off in Mauritania at 16:00GMT today.
