Aduana Stars poster boy, Yahaya Mohammed has suffered a shoulder injury and will spend time on the sidelines in a bid to get back to full fitness.

The highly-rated forward was in action for the Dormaa-based club over the past weekend when the team made the trip to Kumasi to face off with King Faisal on Matchday 2 of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

Although Yahaya Mohammed scored to secure a point for Aduana Stars, he suffered a fracture to his left collarbone.

In line with that, the striker is now set to spend a lengthy spell on the sidelines which could be up to two months.

The news comes as a big blow to Aduana Stars owing to the fact that he is the star man for the team.

Last season, he contributed 11 goals in 13 matches before the campaign was truncated as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Keen on lifting the Premier League title at the end of this season, Aduana Stars hopes Yahaya Mohammed makes a swift recovery to lead the lines for the team.
