Felix Annan Confident Of Coming Back Stronger After Injury Setback

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Felix Annan has expressed optimism to come back stronger after his recent injury setback.

The high-flying shot-stopper of the Porcupine Warriors club captained the team on Sunday afternoon when they drew 1-1 against Berekum Chelsea on Matchday 2 of the 2020/2021 Premier League season. Sadly, he was replaced in the second half when he sustained an injury.

Today, a scan has confirmed that Felix Annan has a muscle tear in his right thigh and will need to spend time on the sidelines to recover before returning to action.

Announcing the news in a post on his Twitter page, the goalkeeper says he is a warrior and will be back better and stronger.

Sources say Felix Annan will miss at least three Asante Kotoko matches including the first meeting with FC Nouadhibou in the CAF Champions League.
