Former Asante Kotoko coach, Malik Jabir has called on the supporters of the club to stop calling for the exit of Maxwell Konadu.

After two matches played in the ongoing 2020/21 Ghana Premier League, the Porcupine Warriors are with just two points.

Konadu, who is the head coach of the side has come under pressure following their winless run.

But according to Jabir, Konadu, who is a former Black Stars assistant coach needs time to settle and must be assessed after ten matches.

"It will be too premature to make any fair assessment of any coach including Maxwell Konadu," he told Kumasi based Akoma FM.

"We have not played enough games to take any decision on any coach. It will be very unfair.

"At least ten games will be enough to make any fair assessment of Maxwell," he added.

Kotoko were held by Techiman Eleven Wonders in their season opener and were stunned in teh 87th minute against Berekum Chelsea to end the game 1:1 at the Golden City Park in Berekum.

The Ghana Premier League giants will now turn their focus their Caf Champions League game against Nouadhibou of Mauritania in the preliminary.
