The head coach for Great Olympics, Annor Walker has reiterated his desire to guide the team to finish in the top half of the Ghana Premier League standings at the end of the 2020/2021 football season.

The capital-based club has had an impressive start in the new top-flight league season and continues to earn plaudits for their performances in the first two matches.

In games against Medeama SC and Legon Cities FC, Great Olympics recorded a 1-1 draw and a 3-0 win respectively.

Speaking in his post-match interview after the Matchday 2 encounter, Coach Annor Walker says he wants his team to be among the top 5 teams when the season ends.

“I don’t want to jump too early. I think we are taking it match after match and my wish is if it should be possible I should be in the first five positions in the league,” the experienced coach said.

Coach Annor Walker continued, “I will not say today that I will win the league but I will be part of it. But if the chances come I will do what I’m expected to do.”

As a result of the draw and the win in the first two matches, Great Olympics currently sit top of the Ghana Premier League standings.
