Presidential advisor on health, Dr Nsiah Asare has said Hearts of Oak will leave Dormaa after their mandatory 14 days quarantine.

His comments come after the matchday 1 league fixture between the Phobians and Aduana Stars was rescheduled after Hearts of Oak asked for another test of Covid-19 with a day before the match.

The game had to be called off due to the situation.

Hearts of Oak's matchday 2 game against Ashgold has been rescheduled as well.

And according to Dr Nsiah Asare, the team arrive at their base in Accra after their mandatory quarantine.

“We thank God that Hearts of Oak situation happened when they were all in camp, and that makes it easy for us to quarantine them over there in Dormaa," Dr Nsiah Asare told Atinka FM.

“The team will be cleared after their normal 14 days quarantine and will be allowed to play again.

“I’m just hearing that the FA has fixed their game between Ashgold on Tuesday coming but we will talk to the FA and see the possibility," he added.
