Executive Council Member of the Ghana Football Association [GFA], Nana Oduro Sarfo is set to drag Asante Kotoko CEO, Nana Yaw Amponsah to the police station for allegedly threatening him.
In an interview, Oduro Sarfo recounted how a little inquiry in a phone interview with the Kotoko CEO attracted insults and threats.
“You are stupid, old fool, am not like you who begs to eat, be very careful or else Ghana can't contain both of us,” he told Kumasi based Oyerepa FM.
According to the Exco members, he only sought to find out if Fabio Gama had been registered when he, unfortunately, received these insults.
“I only asked how he [Fabio Gama] was registered since he just arrived in Ghana. It was a harmless question asked.
“He told me I can take him to wherever I want to, even BBC and that am stupid and shouldn't call his phone again.
“He told me I have no sense that I should stop acting foolishly. I swear by my dead father, my children, and the car I drive that these were the exact words he told me,” Oduro Sarfo shared.
Modernghana.com cannot confirm if the allegation made against Mr Amponsah is true but efforts made to get in touch with the CEO has proven futile.
