The Black Stars have safely arrived in Cape Coast to continue their preparation for the upcoming 2021 African Cup of Nations [Afcon] qualifiers.

Ghana will host Sudan on Thursday at the Cape Coast Stadium.

The four-time African champions started their campaign on Monday with 10 players at the La McDan Park.

Before the departure of teh team, six players joined the camp making it a total of 16 players.

The team underwent a mandatory Covid-19 test before leaving Accra for Cape Coast.

The technical team and management of the senior national team will all be tested as part of protocols to be observed before the matchday three encounter.

CK Akonnor will lead the team to train this evening but the team will undergo Covid-19 test on Wednesday before the team match on Thursday.

The Black Stars, who sit top of Group C, will host Sudan in Ghana for the first leg before the second leg is played five days later in Omdurman.
