Ghana Premier League: We Will Be Ready For Aduana Stars Clash Despite Covid-19 Cases - Hearts PRO

Communications Director of Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo has assured that his outfit will be ready for their matchday 1 game against Aduana Stars.

His comment comes after three positive Covid-19 cases was confirmed on Saturday.

The individuals, who have not been revealed to be either players or staff members, are currently in self-isolation.

However, media reports suggest that two players and official of the club have tested positive for the illness.

But Opare speaking to Accra based Asaase Radio reiterated that they will be ready for their game against the two times Ghana Premier League champions.

"We cannot make excuses because are we are currently going through our pre-season and when the team return to Elmina, we are hoping that there will be a friendly game but we are yet to confirm the opponent.

"After that, we will move to Dormaa for our game on Saturday. We want to have a successful kick-off and for us to have a successful kick-off, we have to prepare and prepare well and we are preparing very well and for us to do well that is the way to go.

"I can assure that we will be ready for the game despite the incident," he added.

Hearts will start their campaign with an away clash against Aduana Stars on November 14 at the Nana Agyemang Badu Stadium.

The Phobians are confident of ending their league title drought this season. They were last Ghanaian champions in 2009.
