Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has said he was impressed with Thomas Partey brilliant performance against Manchester United on Sunday.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s penalty in the second half secured victory for Mikel Arteta’s side
Partey, who joined Arsenal in a £45 million deal from Atletico Madrid on deadline day, delivered a brilliant display at Old Trafford as the Gunners sealed a 1-0 win over United.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s penalty in the second half secured victory for Mikel Arteta’s side, while Partey dominated the midfield battle against Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes.
"He [Partey] was really good. I wouldn't like to talk about individuals because they all contributed a lot," Arteta told the press after the game.
"It was really hard and it's getting harder and harder to pick out the team but I know whoever I pick they are ready and giving absolutely everything and playing with a lot of courage.
"It doesn't matter where we go, it's a massive factor for me that they believe in our style of play," he added.
Arsenal and Partey will Molde in the Europa League on Thursday at the Emerites Stadium.
