GFA To Launch 20/21 Football Season On November 3

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will officially launch the new season on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, ahead of the start of the Premier League.

The last football season had to be ended abruptly on June 30 as a result of a ban on the sport that had been put in place by the government in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Fortunately for the football fraternity, the ban was lifted last month, and clubs given the clear to resume training to prepare for the 2020/2021 football season.

According to Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum, the official launch of the new season will be held next week on November 3.

“The Ghana football season will be launched next week on the 3rd November 2020”, he said in an interview with Hot FM on Tuesday.

After the launch, clubs will head into the Matchday 1 of the season on the weekend of November 13-15.
