MoYS & NSA Back President Akufo-Addo To Cut Sod At Dambai For Construction Of Sports Complex

The Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the National Sports Authority (NSA) have backed President Akufo-Addo at Dambai to cut sod for the construction of 9 more Multipurpose Stadiums in the 6 newly created regions and at Sunyani, Mampong and Offinso.

Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon Isaac Asiamah, DG-NSA Prof Peter Twumasi, and Oti Regional Sports Director, Mrs Joyce Datsa, CEOs of YEA and NYA joined the President's entourage to meet Ghanaians in the Oti region and surrounding areas to know what is coming in the pipeline.

Hon Asiamah said one of the best things in his line of work is the opportunity to engage with his constituents to find out some of their challenges.

On Sunday, 25th October 2020, he continued his constituency inspection tour at Kantinkyre, Amadaa and Ampenkro where I used the opportunity to interact with the constituents and noted some of their concerns and feedback which he ensure to their fulfilment.

At Amadaa, he inspected an on-going construction of a 6-unit classroom block which is near completion. He assured the people that he would support them with some funds to complete the project.

Also at Ampenkro, he donated a canoe which would go a long way to help them with their fishing activities.

He urged them to continue to support President Akufo-Addo and his good-self to take Ghana to the next level of development.

He was accompanied by Hon. William Darko (DCE), Constituency Chairman, Isaac Kofi Marfo and Organizer, Biskmark Oboubi and other constituency executives.
